Here’s a fun idea you can use:
After building the phone, organize an activity where each child “chooses an app” and acts out what it represents.
- If they choose the “I Talk to Jesus” app, they can pretend to make a call and tell Jesus how they’re doing and ask for His help.
- If they pick the“God speaks to me through the Bible”app, the teacher can read a key verse and explain it together with them.
- If they go for the“I thank Jesus”app, have them stand up and say out loud one thing they’re thankful for.
- Prepare a pretend microphone using recycled materials (like a ball of aluminum foil on a cardboard tube). When they press the “I Worship Jesus” app, pass the mic around and let each child say something they want to praise Jesus for (example: “I praise You because You are my friend”).
- When choosing the Camera app, give them a sheet with a selfie frame drawn on it. The children will draw themselves trusting Jesus in a hard situation (like a test, a hospital visit, or being in the dark).
